Victor Schroeder

Victor Schroeder founded Taylor-Made Property Asset Managers with Gavin Rogaly in 2010 and serves as the CEO.

Victor has been involved in the Property, Bond and Investment fields for many years including directorship of a JSE listed Property Company, as well as the assembly of a Portfolio of R612 million for listing on the Johannesburg Securities Exchange (JSE) and the Namibian Stock Exchange (NSX). Listed MICC Property Loan Stock Fund on 10th October 2003 as Consultant to Sanlam Property Asset Management and Gensec Bank.

Subsequent to the MICC listing on the JSE and NSX, VS and his late business partner John Ferrans, assembled a portfolio of properties on behalf of a BEE Investment company and listed the first truly fully fledged BEE Property Loan Stock Fund on the JSE on 22nd April 2005 under the name of Calulo Property Income Fund.

After leaving university (BSc. Statistics), Victor joined the Prudential Assurance Company of South Africa as an Actuarial Trainee. He continued on with the company when it merged with Liberty Life in 1987.

Victor then left Liberty Life after 14 years to take on Product Developments at Investec Bank..

Gavin Rogaly

A qualified actuary and seasoned entrepreneur and property investor, Gavin has developed an extensive network throughout his corporate and entrepreneurial career and remains a passionate advocate of small businesses, private investment and property investment in South Africa.

Prior to establishing Taylor-Made Property Asset Managers, Gavin started his career with the PSG Group as an actuarial specialist before joining Standard Corporate Merchant Bank as an Investment Specialist.

His entrepreneurial career began in 2004 with a big step off the corporate ladder into his own investment and private equity consultancy which led to joint ventures with smaller banks and some private investments. Gavin earned the taste for property whilst advising listed and unlisted property players in the mid 2000’s on financial and funding strategies before becoming involved in investment broking.
